Keyboard Black is a sustainable material used in the R.U.M. Original chair, made from e-waste—recycled plastic from discarded electronic devices. With e-waste being the fastest-growing waste stream in Europe, reusing these materials helps reduce the environmental impact of technological consumption. All e-waste used in our products is sourced from Austria.

Use: The R.U.M. chair is ideal for dining rooms, studies, or children's rooms. Designed to handle daily wear and tear, whether for family gatherings or workspaces, it offers a durable, sustainable seating solution that fits perfectly into a green lifestyle.

Design: Created by C.F. Møller Design, part of one of Scandinavia’s leading architectural firms, the R.U.M. chair combines practicality with a sleek, modern look. Its comfortable, functional design makes it suitable for both private homes and public spaces, promoting eco-conscious living.

Sustainability: R.U.M., short for Re-Used Materials, follows circular economy principles. Only two materials are used in its production, both of which are 100% recyclable. This ensures that the chair can be repurposed to create new Wehlers furniture, supporting a sustainable future.

Delivery Costs & Timings

  • Standard UK mainland delivery is free on orders over £100. Under £100, it's £4.95.
  • Delivery to Northern Ireland is £15.
  • We currently don’t ship outside the UK.
  • Delivery estimates are shown on each product page.
  • Please wait until your items arrive before booking any paid installation - delays can occasionally happen, and we can’t cover missed appointment costs.
  • We can’t deliver to BFPO addresses, PO Boxes, or any address we consider insecure.

Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

  • If anything is missing or broken, email us within 5 days with photos of the product, packaging, and label.
  • For any items visibly damaged on arrival, sign as "unchecked" or "damaged" if possible.
  • Don’t throw away the packaging - this may be needed for your return.

Returns
Changed your mind? No problem.

  • You have 90 days to return an item if it’s unused, in its original packaging, with all original labels attached.
  • Return shipping costs are not covered, and we recommend tracked shipping for items over £50.
  • Items must be posted back - we can’t accept returns in person.
  • Refunds are processed within 5 working days of receiving the return.

If items are returned used, without packaging, or after the 90-day window, we may offer an e-voucher instead of a refund.

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If something isn’t right, contact us straight away through our Returns Centre or by email.

  • Include your order number, photos of the product, outer box, and label.
  • We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund depending on availability.
  • Any agreed collections may incur a courier charge.

  • Perishable goods
  • Personalised or Made to Order items (check for the tag)

For orders under £100 the delviery charge is £4.95.

Are there any other costs?

Some of our curated brands are imported from Europe (such as Kave Home which comes from Spain).

 

When this happens there can be an additional import duty of up to  10% of the order value. 

 

We will always let you know if there are any import duties to pay on the product page.

Do you delivery to BFPOS or PO Boxes

We can't currently deliver website orders to BFPO addresses or to address we believe to be insecure such as PO Boxes. 

Do you deliver outside of the UK?

We have currently suspended deliveries abroad due to the new customs tariffs.

How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, use our Returns Centre on the website, including your order number, contact details, and reason for return. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, which is unfortunately non-refundable.

How long do I have to return items?

If you change your mind, you can return the unused item in its original condition within 30 days for a refund. Ensure all original packaging and labels are intact, and the product is undamaged and unused, excluding normal examination.

How soon will I get my refund?

Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned item. Partial refunds or e-vouchers may apply if the item is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts. 

What happens if my order is damaged?

If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us immediately via the Returns Centre or email, providing photos of the shipping label, outer box, and received goods. 

 

If goods are visibly damaged upon delivery, check them before signing or sign as 'unchecked' or 'damaged.' 

 

Notify us within 7 days, including photos, to arrange a return and replacement. Please do not dispose of packaging, as this may invalidate the return.
