Timber Strips teak on black Wallpaper by Piet Hein Eek was inspired by travels to Japan, where timber is used in many different ways. The working title for this collection was "Zen Wood", reflecting its calm, natural appearance and authentic timber effect.

Piet Hein Eek explains: "This collection is more than ever inspired by the idea that our wallpapers should provide an artificial alternative for a wooden wall. In this case by using 3D timber strips. I am certain people will love the attention to detail which is the trademark of NLXL products. Like Scrapwood, Timber Strips make you want to touch the wall to make sure it isn’t the real thing."

Printed on premium quality 160g non-woven wallpaper, this design offers the realistic appearance of timber strips while providing the practicality and ease of wallpaper. With no repeat and no pattern matching required, installation is simpler and waste is reduced.

How much wallpaper do I need?

How to measure your wall?

Take your measuring tape and note down the widest width and the highest height of your wall. We only need wall measurements, don't include any skirting board or coving. We will print your wallpaper a few inches larger than the wall size you specify to allow for adequate excess paper for trimming. This will make installation easier and safer.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on all orders over £100 for UK mainland.

 

For orders under £100 the delivery charge is £5.95 to UK Mainland.

How long does delivery take?

As we work with a number of different brands, delivery times can vary. 

The estimated delivery time for all items is shown on the individual product listing.

Are there any other costs?

Some of our curated brands are imported from Europe (such as Kave Home which comes from Spain).

 

When this happens there can be an additional import duty of up to  10% of the order value. 

 

We will always let you know if there are any import duties to pay on the product page.

Do you delivery to BFPOS or PO Boxes

We can't currently deliver website orders to BFPO addresses or to address we believe to be insecure such as PO Boxes. 

Do you deliver outside of the UK?

We have currently suspended deliveries abroad due to the new customs tariffs.

How do I return an item?

To initiate a return, use our Returns Centre on the website, including your order number, contact details, and reason for return. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, which is unfortunately non-refundable.

How long do I have to return items?

If you change your mind, you can return the unused item in its original condition within 30 days for a refund. Ensure all original packaging and labels are intact, and the product is undamaged and unused, excluding normal examination.

How soon will I get my refund?

Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned item. Partial refunds or e-vouchers may apply if the item is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts. 

What happens if my order is damaged?

If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us immediately via the Returns Centre or email, providing photos of the shipping label, outer box, and received goods. 

 

If goods are visibly damaged upon delivery, check them before signing or sign as 'unchecked' or 'damaged.' 

 

Notify us within 7 days, including photos, to arrange a return and replacement. Please do not dispose of packaging, as this may invalidate the return.
